Five-O app for iPhone and iPad

The Five-O app is a mobile police interaction system created to help strengthen the relationship between police officers and citizens. Five-O provides a platform for citizens to rate, review and store the details of their interactions with local law enforcement officers. Five-O also provides a channel for police officers to promote their community events to local citizens. Citizens may also commend good police officers and recommend them for local community awards.

Five-O aggregates all officer ratings for a particular county or police officer and assigns by county and officer a dynamic A-F grade for courtesy and professionalism. Five-O also enables users; with a touch of a button, to send their GPS location via email and sms, to pre-stored contacts. Citizens, media, police departments and government organizations will be able to search incident comments by county and state to access incident descriptions posted by other users.

The Five-O app also allows community members to organize by county on its message board feature. Police departments can also store and manage planned community events. Users in the county of these events are notified via push notification. In addition, all user incident reports are stored in a myaccount feature where users can later access relevant details for future reference.

Five-O will allow users to organize to improve relations with police, store and retrieve all interactions with law enforcement, identify law enforcement departments that perform well and those which are abusive, identify abusers early in the process and organize to insist on departmental review and changes, make it easy to commend and award outstanding officers, and improve citizen support and participation in police events.
